BRIGHTON, Colo. — Six people were injured in a two-vehicle crash south of Brighton Thursday.
The Colorado State Patrol said they received a report of a crash involving a Jeep and a Ford Escape at East 120th Avenue and Potomac Street just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
CSP said their initial investigation shows the Jeep's driver was traveling on Potomac and ran a stop sign. The Jeep's front end then hit the side of the Ford. The driver and passenger of the Jeep were ejected from the vehicle, according to CSP, and they were taken to hospitals for possible critical injuries.
The driver, passenger and two children in the Ford were also taken to the hospital, CSP said.
East 120th Avenue is closed from Sable Boulevard to Southgate Boulevard for the investigation.
