X Games return to Aspen: Here's where to watch in person, on TV

X Games are back at Buttermilk for a 23rd consecutive year. Defending snowboard superpipe champ Scotty James seeks his 6th Aspen gold medal.

ASPEN, Colo. — The "world's best action sports, music and festival experience on snow" is back in Colorado this weekend.

X Games Aspen 2024 will showcase top winter sports and athletes from Friday through Sunday at Buttermilk Mountain at Aspen Snowmass.

Nearly 100 skiers and snowboarders including Chloe Kim, Mark McMorris, Eileen Gu and Colby Stevenson will compete in Ski and Snowboard SuperPipe, Slopestyle, Big Air and Knuckle Huck.

Competitions that will take place throughout the weekend and will air on primetime on ABC and ESPN. For the second time, X Games will also stream live for free on Twitch and YouTube.

Spectator competition viewing at Big Air, Knuckle Huck and Slopestyle is free to attend. Admission is also free to X Fest, with sponsor activations, athlete autograph signings, concessions and a beer and wine garden, at the base of Buttermilk.

For guaranteed competition corral viewing, including all SuperPipe competitions, fans must reserve their spot by purchasing an X Games Corral ticket or a SuperFan pass.
