Here's where Wyndham Clark finished on his first day at the Olympics

PARIS, France — Former University of Oregon golfer Wyndham Clark ties for 14th in the 2024 Olympic men's final individual stroke play.

On the first day of the competition, Clark placed 56th, tied for second to last. Clark shot a 75 in his Olympic debut. Team USA teammates Scottie Scheffler placed 6th, Collin Morikawa tied for 30th and Xander Schauffele 2nd.

On Friday, Clark shot a 68 and tied 46th in round two of the competition.

During round three on Saturday, Clark shot a 65 tying for 23rd. In the final round on Sunday, Clark shot 65 tying for 14th with Thorbjorn Olesen of Denmark. 

Clark spent only one year with the Ducks after spending four years at Oklahoma State where he was redshirted his freshman year. He was named Pac-12 Player of the Year with Oregon, then turned pro where he has three wins on the PGA Tour, including the U.S. Open in 2023. Clark is currently ranked No. 5 in the world.

This is not Clark's first time representing the U.S. on the international stage. He was on the 2023 Ryder Cup Team along with Scheffler and Morikawa as well as Justin Thomas and Jordan Speith. 

Scheffler earned a gold medal on Sunday in men's individual stroke play. Schauffele tied for 9th with four other golfers from Canada, Australia, Chile and Belgium. Morikawa tied for 24th with Byeong Hun An of the Republic of Korea.
