USA, — Athletes across the nation are gearing up for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics

Here's a look at the number of athletes from each state who have qualified and will be sporting red, white and blue for Team USA.

Which state has the most Olympic athletes on Team USA?

According to Team USA, there are 592 athletes representing the U.S. who have qualified for the Paris Olympic Games. 

Team USA's state-by-state map shows California has the most, with 143 athletes heading to the Olympics, and Texas has the second most, with 43 athletes representing the Lone Star State.

Georgia will have 27 athletes representing Team USA in Paris.

Meanwhile, a few states are not sending anyone to the Games, including Wyoming and North Dakota, according to the map.

When do the Olympics start? 

The Paris Olympics will start on Wednesday, July 24 and conclude on Sunday, August 11. 

When is the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony? 

The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, July 26, beginning at 1:30 p.m. EDT. 

When is the 2024 Olympics closing ceremony? 

The closing ceremony is set for Sunday, August 11, starting at 3 p.m. EDT.

How many athletes with Georgia ties in the Paris Olympics?
