When stacked up against other professional football teams's ballparks, the Denver Broncos' stadium lands pretty much where the team is right now — smack dab in the middle of the pack.
Sports Authority Field at Mile High — at least, that's the name it bears now — is the 16th best NFL stadium, according to a new Thrillist report that ranks all 31 National Football League venue.
To compile the ranking, Thrillist looked at stadium features, including upgrades, technology and size.
"Some of these pigskin palaces now cost upwards of a billion dollars; others offer apps to tell you how long bathroom lines are," Thrillist says. "And others are nearly a century old, living fossils, with cavernous concourses and all-day bathroom lines. Every stadium brings something special to the game day experience."
