OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Derek Wolfe wanted to play for the Baltimore Ravens since he visited the team facility before the 2012 draft.

He ended up being selected by Denver, and spent eight years there before becoming a free agent in March.

The defensive tackle figured he missed yet another chance to join the Ravens when they reached agreement last month on a three-year contract with free agent Michael Brockers.

After that deal fell through, Wolfe was delighted to sign a one-year contract with Baltimore. He will be part of a defensive line that Wolfe says could be the best in the NFL this year.
