Saturday isn’t just the first preseason home game for the Denver Broncos. It’s also the grand opening of a miniature version of old Mile High Stadium that’s gotten quite the buzz.
Even though it’s dubbed “Mini Mile High” it’s actually really called “Mile High Monument.” It’s situated right in the middle of parking lot J on the north side of Sports Authority Field.
What’s the purpose? Long story short, you can rent it for events.
The “Mile High Monument” is one-eighth the size of the original Mile High Stadium. It’s 3,000 square feet and has some of the original seats throughout.

Built to honor the rich history of Mile High Stadium, it features a glass wall with the name of every Broncos player that has ever played there.
The monument is open on home game days. Season ticket holders get “premier access” and fans can tour it at no additional cost.
They have not yet announced the hours of operation for non-game days. When it is open, it will be free to tour.
The facility can also be rented out. The cost hasn’t been released yet.
We’re getting an inside looking at “Mini Mile High” this week. Keep an eye out for that on 9NEWS and 9NEWS.com.
