To put it lightly, Denver Broncos fans have seen better seasons.
The Broncos have dropped eight straight and have a 3-9 record. It’s their worst losing streak in 50 years, and the losses have come at the hands of dismal teams like the Miami Dolphins and the New York Giants.
Folks on the internet have been quick to point fingers, calling for the firing of everyone from coach Vance Joseph to special teams coordinator Brock Olivo.
General manager John Elway has also gotten his share of criticism – so much that his self-proclaimed No. 1 fan took to Instagram to defend him.
Juliana Elway, the Hall of Famer’s daughter, wrote a heartfelt note Monday that has since generated lots of supportive comments from fellow Broncos fans.

“I will always be his #1 fan no matter what. People are so quick to blame and give up the one time the Broncos are struggling. No one has any clue how hard my dad or anyone else for that matter, works to build the best team possible. I may be biased but I doubt anyone that is hating could do a better job than him. Not every year is going to be a Super Bowl team. This is a learning year and I will stick with them through the end. If you can’t be with the team at their worst then you definitely don’t deserve to be there at their best. 💙”
