DENVER — The Denver Broncos revealed a new 1977-inspired throwback jersey in April, but the team has now announced when it will finally be available to purchase as well as when the team will wear the uniform for the first time.
The Broncos said the team will release its 1977 jerseys and merchandise on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Training Camp.
Fans attending Training Camp will be able to purchase merchandise on site with a valid practice ticket.
All throwback jerseys and merchandise will also be available at the Broncos' team store at Empower Field at Mile High beginning at 10 a.m.
The Broncos will wear the throwback jersey for the first time against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 6.
At the Alumni Weekend game, the Broncos will also honor linebacker Randy Gradishar’s Pro Football Hall of Fame induction and officially induct safety Steve Foley and tight end Riley Odoms into the Ring of Fame.
