ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos held an introductory news conference on Friday for newly drafted quarterback Bo Nix.
Nix was drafted Thursday night by the Broncos with the 12th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Nix, 24, threw for 45 touchdowns and 4,508 yards in his second senior year for the Oregon Ducks in 2023. He first played three years for Auburn before coaching changes led Nix to transfer to Oregon prior to the 2022 season.
The battle to be the Broncos' starting quarterback will be between Nix, Jarrett Stidham and recently acquired Zach Wilson. The Broncos also have quarterback Ben DiNucci on the roster.
The second and third rounds of the NFL Draft will be held Friday. Currently, the Broncos don't have a second-round pick and must wait until the No. 76 selection to pick in the third round.
