Broncos release veteran Billy Winn

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos have released defensive lineman Billy Winn and waived cornerback Horace Richardson, the team announced Thursday.

Winn has appeared in 68 games (23 starts) during his seven-year career with Cleveland (2012-14), Indianapolis (2015) and Denver (2016).

Winn spent the 2017 and 2019 seasons on injured reserve with the Broncos. The veteran last played in an NFL game in 2016.

Richardson spent the entire 2019 season on injured reserve with the Broncos.

The cornerback has competed with Minnesota (2017-18), Detroit (2018), Kansas City (2018) and Denver’s (2018) active roster or practice squad.
