LOS ANGELES — There's something in the water in Los Angeles.
For whatever reason, the NFL teams that call the city home are feeling the need to tweak their logo.
One day after the Rams rolled out a new logo and color scheme, their future stadium-mates made a similar announcement.
The Chargers have updated their logo and unveiled new logotype ahead of their move into a new home at Hollywood Park.
The franchise is keeping the lightning bolt as its primary logo but it has become sleeker and streamlined.
There is not as much of a curve to the bolt, while navy blue has been removed as one of the colors.
Powder blue and sunshine gold remain the predominant colors. The Chargers have also added a bolt to the "A" in their nickname in the logotype.
There's no word yet on whether or not the new looks will translate to more wins.
