Buccaneers agree to terms with WR Jackson

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver Vincent Jackson on a five-year contract.

Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver Vincent Jackson on a five-year contract.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but is reported to be worth $55,555,555 with $26 million guaranteed.

Jackson had spent his entire seven-year career with the San Diego Chargers after being drafted in the second round of the 2005 draft.

The Northern Colorado product caught 60 balls for 1,106 yards and nine scores last year, recording his third 1,000-yard season in the last four years, with the lone exception being the 2010 season in which he missed all but five games after sitting out because of a contract dispute.

Through 91 career game with 75 starts, he has 272 career receptions for 4,754 yards and 37 touchdowns.
