DENVER — After a 3-9 inaugural season with the Colorado State Rams, head coach Jay Norvell has hit the ground running on his 2023 signing class. His first full year of recruiting has pulled in the number one recruiting class in the entire Mountain West Conference, according to numerous sources.
On National Signing Day, his recruiting class includes four-star player Damian Henderson, 23 three-star athletes, one two-star player, and 10 additional non-ranked players.
Norvell and his staff signed three players from Colorado, including wide receiver Silas Evans from George Washington High School in Denver, defensive end Javion Smith-Cobbs from Cherry Creek and offensive guard Tanner Morley from Valor Christian.
The Rams begin their season hosting Washington State on Saturday, September 2. They will renew their rivalry with Colorado in the Rocky Mountain Showdown at Folsom Field on Saturday September 16.
