It did not matter how it looked or how it came, the Colorado State menโs basketball team simply had to win Saturday.
The Rams did with a 70-62 grinder of a victory in front of a packed Moby Arena over rival Wyoming.
CSU (21-9, 9-8 Mountain West) desperately needed it to snap a three-game losing skid and keep itself on the right side of the NCAA Tournament projections.
It was also a Border War after losing in stunning fashion in Laramie in January. Then it was senior day for five players, including star Isaiah Stevens.
