CSU football player Hunter Donnelly has been suspended from the program following his arrest Wednesday by campus police for allegedly violating a restraining order. A domestic violence enhancement was added to the charge, according to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office booking report.

Donnelly, 19, was booked into the Larimer County Jail and released on a $750 surety bond, according to county records. He's scheduled for an initial court appearance at 8:30 a.m. Friday before Larimer County Judge Kraig Ecton.

Colorado State University Police, through a school spokeswoman, declined to release additional information on the circumstances that led to Donnelly's arrest, saying it was still under investigation.

Donnelly, a redshirt freshman linebacker from Arlington, Texas, did not practice with the Rams on Thursday and "has been suspended from all team activities until we gather all the facts," coach Mike Bobo said. He will not participate in the football team's annual spring game Saturday, the coach said.
