FORT COLLINS, Colo. — This was arguably the best nonconference performance in modern history for the program.
The Colorado State men's basketball team finished nonconference play with a 12-1 record after a 106-61 win over Division II Adams State on Friday night at Moby Arena.
By metrics it's the top set of nonconference results in recent memory for CSU, with several marquee wins. The rebuilt roster has already almost matched the win total (15) from a year ago.
The record is sterling, but it hasn't come with smooth sailing in roster management. The Rams have dealt with several key injuries but have been able to navigate them due to the team's depth being as good (or better) than predicted.
