Deion Sanders holding news conference as Buffs prepare for regular season finale

Colorado football stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter will likely play their final game at Folsom Field on Friday morning.

BOULDER, Colo. — University of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders will address the media Tuesday following his team's loss in Kansas City last Saturday.

Sanders' press conference is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Colorado Buffaloes (8-3, 6-2 Big 12, No. 16 CFP) are preparing to play their regular season finale on Saturday. The game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys will kick off at 10 a.m. Mountain time at Folsom Field in Boulder.

This Friday's game at Folsom Field will likely be the final game at home for Colorado stars Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy candidate Travis Hunter now that the team's hopes of hosting a College Football Playoff game have been dashed.

The CU Buffs fell to No. 23 in the latest Associated Press College Football Poll following last Saturday's heartbreaking loss against Kansas at Arrowhead Stadium.

“We controlled our own destiny. And we fumbled it,” Deion Sanders said after losing to KU.

The Buffaloes need to beat Oklahoma State on Friday and get some help to play for a title in their return to the Big 12, and ultimately earn the league’s guaranteed spot in the College Football Playoff.
