CU Buffs earn another national TV game for showdown at Arrowhead

Every CU football game this season has been on national television. The CU Buffs earned another network TV slot for their game against Kansas.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Every CU football game this season will be on national television.

The Colorado football team has landed another nationally televised game after defeating Texas Tech to improve their record to 7-2 this season.

The Big 12 Conference announced Monday that Colorado's next road game, against Kansas on Saturday, Nov. 23, will kick off at 1:30 p.m. Mountain time. The game will be televised nationally on FOX.

The CU-KU game will be played at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, while the Jayhawks' on-campus stadium undergoes renovations this season.

Of the 12 games this season, the Buffs will have nine games on network television and all 12 on either the flagship ESPN or network television, both program records. 

The Buffaloes and coach Deion Sanders will appear this season on all four major networks in the same season for the first time in school history. Games this season are scheduled on FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC and ESPN.

The Buffs have won six of their last seven games and are ranked No. 18 in The Associated Press Top 25 college football poll.

In Colorado's game on Saturday, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders threw three touchdown passes and ran for a score, two-way star Travis Hunter had nine catches for 99 yards and a TD.

Colorado overcame an early deficit to beat Texas Tech 41-27. Sanders was 30 of 43 for 291 yards. Shilo Sanders, the other son of Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders on the team, recovered a fumble in the end zone with 51 seconds left.

The University of Colorado at Boulder will be in the national spotlight this weekend, hosting one of the biggest pregame shows in college football.

FOX will bring its nationally televised "Big Noon Kickoff" pregame show to Colorado Saturday morning before the Buffaloes host the Utah Utes at Folsom Field.

The broadcast runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. MT on FOX, but the party will begin a lot earlier at CU's Farrand Field.

Buffalo and Ute fans are invited to attend the show. Doors for the party-like television show open at 5 a.m. with a pregame tailgate starting at 7 a.m. Saturday.

"Big Noon Kickoff" features host Rob Stone and analysts Matt Leinart, Urban Meyer, Brady Quinn and Mark Ingram II. The show was also on site in Lubbock, Texas, last Saturday for Colorado's game against Texas Tech. 

Colorado's home game on Saturday against Utah at Folsom Field will kick off at 10 a.m. Mountain Time and will be broadcast nationally by FOX.
