DENVER — Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić will be a starter in the NBA All-Star Game for the third year in a row.
The two-time reigning MVP is making his fifth straight appearance on an All-Star Game roster this year.
Jokić joins Alex English and David Thompson as the only Nuggets players to be selected to start in consecutive All-Star Games and is just the second Nuggets player after English to be selected to five or more All-Star games.
The 27-year-old big man is averaging 25.1 points, 11.0 rebounds, 9.9 assists and 1.40 steals while shooting .629 from the field and .378 from three while playing 33.4 minutes per game this season. He leads the NBA with 15 triple-doubles.
The NBA All-Star Game will be played on Sunday, Feb. 19 at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City.
