SALT LAKE CITY — All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz says he showed no symptoms of being sick before testing positive for the coronavirus.

He adds that he continues to have no signs of illness since going into isolation. Mitchell spoke to ABC’s “Good Morning America” in an interview broadcast Monday.

He says it “took awhile" for him to "kind of cool off” at Rudy Gobert, his All-Star teammate who was the first NBA player whose positive test for the virus was revealed.

Gobert has said he did not take the threat of the illness seriously.
