DENVER — The Denver Nuggets have exercised a $30 million option on forward Paul Millsap's contract for next season, sources tell ESPN.
A four-time All-Star, Millsap has averaged 14.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game over 13 seasons for Denver, Utah and Atlanta.
League sources also tell ESPN that the Nuggets will extend a qualifying offer to forward Trey Lyles, who is a restricted free agent.
The Nuggets finished with the second-best record in the West and advanced to the Western Conference semifinals this past season.
Denver also agreed on a five-year, $170 million contract extension with point guard Jamal Murray early Monday.
