DENVER — We have more evidence that Nikola Jokic is the best basketball player of all time: he is launching a SpongeBob SquarePants-themed sneaker collection.
Sneaker expert Nick DePaula posted pictures of the upcoming collaboration between the Denver Nuggets center and shoe brand 361° on X on Thursday.
The collection appears to include shoes featuring SpongeBob, Squidward, Patrick and Mr. Crabs.
It's not clear when the shoes will be available or how much they will cost.
This is the second cartoon deal Jokic has been a part of lately.
The Joker was featured in an ad about the upcoming movie, Despicable Me 4. He even showed up to the first game of the Nuggets series against the Los Angeles Lakers on April 20 dressed as the supervillain.
Jokic signed on with 361° in December and has three signature sneakers for sale now. Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon is also an ambassador of the brand.
The Nuggets currently have a 3-2 lead in their playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, putting the reigning NBA champs one win away from the Western Conference Finals. They play in Game 6 on Thursday evening.
