DENVER — Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic is a unanimous choice for the All-NBA first team.
The three-time Most Valuable Player received first team votes on all 99 ballots from a global panel of sportswriters and broadcasters. It's his fourth first-team selection.
Joining Jokic on the first team are Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was also a unanimous pick, Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum.
Jokic's selection comes on the heels of receiving his third MVP award in the past four seasons. The nine-year veteran from Serbia ranked 10th in the NBA in points, fourth in rebounds and third in assists per game during the 2023-2024 season. He became the second player in NBA history to have at least 2,000 points, 900 rebounds and 700 assists in a season, joining Oscar Robertson. Jokic, 29, is the ninth player in NBA history to win three or more MVPs.
After matching a franchise high 57 regular season wins, the Nuggets were eliminated from the playoffs Sunday when they lost Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
