DENVER — Jamal Murray's actions in Game 2 will only hurt his wallet, not his team.
Camera footage showed the Denver Nuggets guard throwing objects including a heat pack onto the court at Ball Arena during play in Game 2 against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night.
The NBA announced Tuesday Murray would be assessed a $100,000 fine but would not face suspension as Denver continues its second-round playoff series against Minnesota.
The Nuggets became frustrated at referees in Monday's game for missed calls, eventually getting blown out by the Timberwolves to fall to a 2-0 series deficit.
Both teams return to the court Friday night at the Target Center for Game 3.
