Denver clearly still has a place in J.R. Smith's heart. And now, it has a place in his family.
Speaking Wednesday morning at the Cleveland Cavaliers' shootaround, the former Nugget said he and his wife will be naming their fourth daughter 'Denver'--after the city he called home for much of his NBA career.
Smith and his wife, Jewel, already have three girls. The oldest--Demi--just turned nine and had quite the hilarious reaction last month when she found out she'd be having yet another sister.

Smith spent five seasons in the Mile High City from 2006-2011, where he averaged double figures in scoring each year. He was a key cog on the team that went to the Western Conference finals in 2008-09, putting up just over 15 points a game.
He's spent the last three and a half years with the Cavs, where he won his first championship in 2016.
The Cavaliers take on the Nuggets Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
