DENVER — "Mile High and out of here."
April 9, 1993 is a special day in Colorado sports history.
27-years ago today the Rockies won the franchise's first-ever game in front of a raucous crowd of 80,227 at Mile High Stadium. It was the largest Opening Day crowd in baseball history.
