KUSA — Some of you may have recognized the man behind home plate during Tuesday night's game between the Rockies and the Cubs.
Chris Guccione, who is originally from Salida, was the umpire in the game. It wasn't his first appearance in a big game.
Two years ago, in 2016, he was featured on NEXT because he was behind the plate and called the final out in game 7 of the World Series. The video above is the story that aired in 2016.
