3 Rockies named Gold Glove finalists

The 2024 Gold Glove Award finalists were announced Tuesday, with the winners set to be unveiled on ESPN on Nov. 3.

DENVER — Three members of the Colorado Rockies were named finalists for the 2024 Gold Glove Award on Tuesday.

Rockies center fielder Brenton Doyle, third baseman Ryan McMahon and shortstop Ezequiel Tovar are finalists for the award, which honors the best individual fielding performances at each position in the American League and National League.

The award winners will be announced on ESPN and “Baseball Tonight” at 6:30 p.m. Mountain time on Sunday, Nov. 3.

Brenton Doyle

Doyle, 26, is a finalist for the second year in a row after being named the National League Gold Glove winner in center field in 2023.

Doyle was named the Rockies' 2024 Heart and Hustle Award winner, an award given by the players' association to active players who demonstrate a passion for the game of baseball and best embody the values, spirit and traditions of the game.

Ryan McMahon

McMahon, 29, earned his fourth-straight finalist nomination at third base after moving full-time to the hot corner in 2021.

Ezequiel Tovar

Tovar, 23, was nominated as a finalist in each of his first two full Major League seasons.
