DENVER — An 11-court indoor pickleball facility is coming to Denver’s Central Park neighborhood near Interstate 70.

Mile Hi Pickleball plans to open at 35,000-square-foot indoor facility at 3700 Havana St., Suite 305, next month. It will be Mile Hi Pickleball’s first location.

“We looked for over a year to find a location in or near Central Park because we live, work and play in this neighborhood, and we saw the demand for it here,” said Tricia Houston, chief pickle officer at Mile Hi Pickleball, in an email. “The Denver metro area and NE Denver is basically a pickleball desert so we wanted it to be in this area to help grow the sport.”

The new location will offer drop-in play opportunities, leagues, events, tournaments and beginner lessons, according to the company. Beer, wine and light snacks will also be available for purchase.

The company plans to offer a “large rentable space” adjacent to the championship court for parties, gatherings and corporate events, it said in a statement.

“Our goal at Mile Hi Pickleball is to make the sport accessible to everyone,” Houston said in a statement.
