John Grant Jr. is back on top.

It didn't take the Denver Outlaws attackman long after coming out of retirement to retake his spot as Major League Lacrosse's all-time leading scorer.

Grant picked up three points (now 598 total) in his team's 18-16 road victory over the Atlanta Blaze on Saturday night to take the crown back from Paul Rabil (596).

The achievement comes just three games into the season, after the 44-year-old announced his return to the roster as a player-coach to help the Outlaws try to defend their MLL title.

Saturday was an avenging win for Denver, which suffered its first loss the week prior at Atlanta.

The Outlaws are now 2-1 on their 2019 campaign, and next make their home debut at Broncos Stadium at Mile High against the Dallas Rattlers on June 27.
