DENVER — As the Denver Pioneers hockey team prepares to work for another national championship, students are making sure they have their season tickets.

The annual Denver Hockey Student Ticket Camp Out begins Friday at the Ritchie Center on the University of Denver campus.

A limited amount of student tickets will become available on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and students must be in line to receive a golden ticket to access every home game.

DU said students can begin pitching their tents on Friday at 11 a.m. on the northside of the Ritchie Center along Buchtel Boulevard. Students are encouraged to spend the night to secure their place in line. The university advised campers to bring cold weather clothing, sleeping bags, blankets, camping chairs, and any other essentials.
