HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — Regis Jesuit is heading back to the hockey state championship.
The Raiders, who are the top seed in the Class 5A playoff bracket, defeated No. 4 Monarch 5-2 in the Frozen Four on Saturday at South Suburban Sports Complex, punching their ticket to next week's title game at the University of Denver.
It will be Regis Jesuit's first title game appearance since 2019 as the Raiders seek to win their seventh championship in program history.
Regis Jesuit will play the winner of No. 2 Valor Christian versus No. 3 Cherry Creek in Tuesday night's championship at Magness Arena scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Monarch's season ends with a 10-4-6 overall record.
