KUSA -- The Pueblo East Eagles are back-to-back 3A football State Champions after defeating the Roosevelt Roughriders 57-31. In a scoring frenzy, the two team took to the field with explosive offenses in a championship showdown at Dutch Clark Stadium.
Pueblo East was up 28-0 in the game. Eagles' Daniel Martin a few touchdowns, including an interception returned down the field for a score. Last year Pueblo East defeated Rifle on the same field and this year they return the state championship trophy to their case.
