Our 9NEWS game of the week was the i25 Bowl Rivalry, Thornton vs. Northglenn.
The Thornton Trojans led the majority of the first half, but lost the lead in the final 40 seconds of the second quarter and never regained a cushion.
The Northglenn Norse fought back from a 13-0 deficit thanks to a great team effort and strong running from runningback JoJo Stevenson.
"I knew my team would T up and get that trophy and bring it back home," Stevenson said. "It always stays home no matter what."
As far as Stevenson's five-touchdown performance, the runningback is very confident of his abilities.
"I'm him, my team is him, we're all him," Stevenson said. "And this trophy, it's ours."
Northglenn improves to 3-0 overall this season with the win, while Thornton falls to 0-3.
