CASTLE ROCK, Colo. — Don't look now, but the Mountain Vista football team is on a roll.
The Golden Eagles, who are ranked No. 8 in Class 5A in this week's rankings, have rattled off six wins in a row since dropping their season-opening Week Zero game to No. 4 Ralston Valley.
That win streak was extended Friday night with a 37-14 victory over crosstown rival Rock Canyon at Douglas County Stadium.
With the win, Mountain Vista improves to 6-1 overall on the season ,while Rock Canyon falls to 5-2.
