LOVELAND, Colo. — Wray is back on top the Class 2A boys basketball world.
The Eagles captured their second state title in three years on Saturday at the Budweiser Events Center, defeating Sanford 45-41 in the championship game.
"I didn't have a doubt in my mind that we would win that game," said Wray senior Chris Arambula, who poured in a game-high 15 points in the victory. "It's that hard work that all paid off...We just went out and balled out today."
The Eagles went 21-6 overall on their championship run, which included finishing on a 13-game win streak. Sanford went 18-9 as runner-up.
