Mallory Pugh, former Mountain Vista Golden Eagles soccer star and U.S. Women's soccer player, scored her first Olympic goal against Colombia to pull ahead 2-1.
According to the U.S. Women's Soccer twitter, Pugh is the youngest player to score in the Olympics for the United States.

Pugh scored 59 minutes into the game in the second half. Soon after on a miscue, Pugh is called offside on what could have been a 3-1 lead.

The U.S. held a 2-1 lead until extra time when, Colombia's Usme tied the game 2-2. The U.S. wins their group and advances to the quarterfinal.
