AURORA, Colo. — The Class 3A softball crown is staying put.
Eaton repeated as champions with a dominant win over Thomas Jefferson in the state title game on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds' 11-0 victory over the Spartans was cut short after the fifth inning at Aurora Sports Park.
Senior pitcher Sadie Ross recorded seven strikeouts with just two walks, throwing a no-hitter on the biggest stage.
Eaton has won the 3A championship three of the past four years. The Reds went 28-1 overall on their championship campaign, with their only defeat to 4A Holy Family.
Thomas Jefferson went 23-5 overall as runner-up.
