At the end of the day, the score doesn't matter. Honestly. Losses can be tough, wins can be exhilarating, but each practice, game and moment with your team can provide memories and lessons to last a lifetime.
That was the case during the Cherry Creek versus Prairie View football game Friday night. In the fourth quarter, Prairie View football manager Patrick McKinney entered the game for the Thunderhawks. McKinney has cerebral palsy, and is in a wheelchair. With the help of his teammates and the Cherry Creek Bruins, McKinney scored the final touchdown of the night. After he reached the end zone, both benches joined him to celebrate on the field.

Prairie View posted this video to its Facebook page, which a message that read in part:
"This is everything right abut high school athletics. Thank you to Cherry Creek High School for the class you demonstrated tonight. Thank you to our PVHS Football Team, parents and students for living out our Core Values and always being School Spirited. Lastly, thank you to Patrick McKinney for your pride and dedication to our school. You are loved by PVHS!"
