There were 31 high school lacrosse players, both girls and boys, to make the southwest regional teams in the 2016 Under Armour All-American Lacrosse tournament, which takes place this weekend.
The teams are split into two teams, the Command and the Highlights. The Command teams consist of players that will graduate in 2019 and 2020, while the Highlight team includes athletes that graduate in 2017 and 2018.
According to the Under Armour All American Lacrosse website, "Once selected, the Underclass teams will travel to Baltimore, MD and compete in the Under Armour Underclass Tournament, June 30th -- July 3rd."
There are 10 regions and a total of 52 teams participating in the tournament.
The teams will face-off in a pull play tournament to be crowned "the Nations' Elite".
