Former Valor Christian girls soccer player Janine Beckie scores the quickest goal in  Olympic soccer history against Australia in Rio.

Former Valor Christian girls soccer player Janine Beckie scored the quickest goal in Olympic soccer history against Australia in Rio.

Only 20 seconds into the game, Beckie sails the ball into the lower right corner of the goal to beat Australian goalkeeper Lydia Williams. Team Canada's Captain, Christine Sinclair jumps on a turnover in the Australian defensive zone and sends one across the box to Beckie for the 1-0 lead.

Canada defeats Australia 2-0 in the opening game for women's soccer in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Check out Beckie's goal seconds into the start of the game!

Beckie would later get a penalty kick for Canada in the 73' minute; however, Williams would redeem her early goal with a save.
