FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Isaiah Stevens will begin his chase for the NBA with the Miami Heat.

The former Colorado State star was not selected in this week's two-round 2024 NBA draft but shortly after it ended Thursday he signed with Miami for summer league. His agency ProMondo Sports announced the signing on Instagram.

Stevens played five seasons at CSU, rewriting the record books. The point guard started all 153 games he played as a Ram, helping CSU make two NCAA Tournament appearances (plus an NIT Final Four) in his time in college.

He is CSU's career leader in points (2,350), assists (863) and 3-pointers (629). Stevens averaged 16 points and 6.8 assists per game in 2023-24.

Stevens tested the NBA draft waters a year ago but returned for a final season of college. His size (listed by CSU as 6-foot) was the main factor in limiting his draft status.
