All-Access Pioneers: Whose got tickets?

9News is going all-access with the University of Denver hockey team leading up to their outdoor game with Colorado College on Saturday at Coors Field.

DU head coach Jim Montgomery doesn't want his players bothered this week. He made it clear when addressing his team in the Pioneers locker room at Magness Arena.

"Don't you be stressing out about getting people tickets, don't worry about making everybody happy," said Montgomery. "I just told my wife, use our credit card the way she wanted because I have to coach a hockey game."

The Battle on Blake has been a battle of sorts, for some of the players.

"I'm getting texts from people I haven't talked to in a long time," said freshman Troy Terry. He grew up in Highlands Ranch and has a whole lot of people asking him for tickets.

"I want to help everyone out and get them tickets but i have to lookout for myself and prepare for the game," said Terry.

A unique event against an arch rival, Terry knows all about DU versus CC.

"I had season tickets right there actually," said Terry pointing to the seats behind the east net in Magness Arena.

Grew up watching it, now he's in it and getting ready to play at Coors Field.

"When I first committed here, the games I always had in my head and looked forward to were the ones against Colorado College," Terry told 9News. "Now that I heard we're doing this game it's just awesome."

Tickets are still available, just don't ask Troy for them.
