KUSA – Robert Seeber was a radioman on a battleship in the Pacific Theater during World War II, but until now, the 92-year-old said he’d never flown in a military aircraft.
That changed on Friday, when he got the opportunity to take to the sky in a B-25 Bomber.
It was a way for the Commemorative Air Force to thank him for his service.
He flew out of Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Jefferson County – and Seeber said he’d been looking forward to the flight for a long time.
