DENVER — In a market such as Denver's, where median home prices far outpace the national average, finding a bargain at any price point can be a challenge for prospective homebuyers.
Denver Business Journal teamed up with REcolorado to compile a sampling of homes priced at or near the $1 million mark from across the Denver metro.
The median sale price in July for the Denver metro was $431,000, while the national median for the second quarter was $320,300, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
In July, homes priced between $900,000 and $1 million spent an average of 46 days on the market, while homes in the $200,000-$400,000 range remained on the market for an average of only 25 days, according to REcolorado's Market Watch report.
