Sometimes, weird inexplicable things just happen.
Sometimes, when these bizarre things happen, and we're lucky enough, someone is standing by with a camera to snap a moment that will last a lifetime.
One such happy accident occurred this week in Larimer County.
A sheriff's deputy was working an eviction in the county, when a rather clingy squirrel decided he wanted to be friends.
The squirrel apparently darted into the house and hopped onto the deputy.... landing first on his belly, then hopping up to his shoulder.
That's really all we know about what happened. But, since there's photographic evidence, we felt we ought to share.
