KUSA - A new survey of singles by Match.com says that people start evaluating whether a person is marriage material on the first date.

According to the dating website, 51 percent of those surveyed - 56 percent of men and 48 percent of women -said they were imagining a future with the person during the first date.

Among 30-somethings, 62 percent said they want to get married; 79 percent of 20-somethings felt the same, according to the study.

However, if you plan to make it to the altar, you might want to avoid intimacy on the first encounter. Only 37 percent of men and 8 percent of women surveyed said it's acceptable to have sexual intercourse on the first date.
