For the 21st year, the Denver Business Journal honors its 40 under 40 award winners.
This year, the DBJ wanted to bring attention to words of inspiration. In a time when information is shared in sound bites and Tweets, we wanted to know how important it is to a person’s success to still immerse themselves in literature and long-form publications.
So, during a photo shoot with DBJ photographer Kathleen Lavine and in story interviews, the 40 honorees were asked about the words that have inspired them.
In this section we share some of their favorite quotes, favorite books and authors, as well as words of wisdom they’ve received as career advice.
