WESTMINSTER, Colo. — A commercial building in Westminster is expected to be a total loss after a fire and possible explosion overnight Friday.
Just after midnight, firefighters were called to the building at 6501 W. 91st Ave. on a report of a possible explosion, according to a release from the Westminster Fire Department.
That is near the intersection of W 92nd Avenue and Pierce Street.
When they arrived, firefighters said the building was already heavily involved in a fire.
The two-alarm fire was under control just before 1:30 a.m.
No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire department said the building is believed to be a total loss.
A Google search shows the building houses a Hydraulic repair service, a landscaping supply store and a fertilizer supplier.
